Monday, August 23, 2010
INDIANAPOLIS- National President Jan Tittle announced the 2009-2010 Outstanding and Runner-up Department Presidents of the Year at the National President's Luncheon, which started at 1:00 p.m. at the Indianapolis Convention Center.
The 51 Presidents from every state plus the District of Columbia were judged on program participation, membership statistics and leadership through a point system.
For the first time ever, the National President's Luncheon was opened to ticket purchase, and the event had nearly 600 attendees.

"Historically, this is a difficult decision," National President Jan Tittle said of the judging, which took place in July in Kansas City, where National Headquarters is located. "Everyone works hard in this position. I am so proud of my team."
Guest included the National Line Officers, the Past National Presidents and other special guests. Music was provided by the National Musicians and by the National Soloist.
